Pricing
One fee, charged once, on the budget
Creators pay nothing to join, nothing per clip and nothing to cash out. Brands pay a single platform fee on the budget they fund, deducted at the moment they fund it. Campaigns Build More runs itself carry no fee at all, so the whole budget reaches creators.

Who pays what
There are only three parties on Build More and only one of them is ever charged. The table below holds for every campaign on the platform, in every country it operates in, with no tiers, no seats and no monthly subscription behind it.
- Creators
0%
No signup fee, no commission on approved clips and no charge on a payout. What the campaign rate says your views earned is what lands in your balance.
- Brands and agencies
20
Charged once on the funded budget. The remainder becomes the reward pool and can only ever leave as a creator payout. Unspent pool is returned when a campaign closes.
- Build More campaigns
0%
Campaigns the Build More team creates and funds carry no platform fee, so every kwacha of the budget sits in the reward pool. They are marked in the campaign list.
Worked example
What K50,000 actually buys
Take one budget and run it through both routes. The left column is a brand funding its own campaign. The right is the same money in a campaign Build More created, where the fee is zero. Every figure below is calculated from the live platform settings.

| Line item | Brand-funded campaign | Build More campaign |
|---|---|---|
| Budget fundedWhat the campaign owner pays in | K50,000 | K50,000 |
| Platform feeTaken once, on funding, never on a payout | K10,000 | K0.00 |
| Reward pool for creatorsThe only pot clips are ever paid from | K40,000 | K50,000 |
| Views that pool buysAt the default rate of K32 per 1,000 views | 1.3M | 1.6M |
View estimates assume every clip is paid at the default rate. A campaign that sets a higher rate buys fewer views from the same pool, and a per-clip ceiling spreads the pool across more creators.
Fee split
Where the platform fee goes
The fee is not margin sitting in a holding company. It is split three ways the moment a campaign is funded, and the split is published here because a marketplace that handles other people’s money should be able to show where it went.
Amounts shown are the split on the K50,000 example above.
- Tax and statutory contributions
- 35K3,500
- The people who review your clips
- 40K4,000

Thresholds
The smallest budget a brand can fund is 5,000. The smallest balance a creator can cash out is K50. Payout runs go out every Friday.
Below the minimum, earnings stay in your balance and keep accruing rather than being lost. There is no charge for holding a balance and no expiry on it.
Questions
What people ask about the money
Anything not covered here goes to hello@buildmore.africa and a person answers it.
How much does a clip actually pay?
Each campaign publishes a fixed rate per 1,000 verified views. A campaign paying K38 per 1,000 views pays K3,800 on a clip that reaches 100,000 views, up to that campaign's per-clip ceiling. You keep 100% of what your views earn.
When do I get paid?
Clips are reviewed within about 18 hours. Once approved, the amount lands in your Build More balance. You can cash out to mobile money or a bank account any time you are above the minimum payout threshold, and runs are processed every Friday.
Do I need a big following?
No. Payment is based on views, not followers. A 400-follower account with one clip that reached 90,000 people earns exactly the same as a 400,000-follower account that reached the same number.
How are views verified?
Our review team checks the public view count against your own platform analytics before approving. Bought views, view-exchange traffic and re-uploads of someone else's clip are rejected and can suspend an account.
Can I post the same clip to more than one platform?
Yes. Each platform link is a separate submission and each one earns on its own verified views, as long as the campaign lists that platform and its budget pool still has room.
What does Build More take?
Brands pay a 20% platform fee on the budget they fund. Creators pay nothing: 100% of what your views earn is yours, and there is no fee on cashing out.
Next step
Put a budget behind it
Set the budget, set the rate per 1,000 views and publish. You are charged the platform fee at funding and nothing after that, and whatever the pool does not spend comes back to you when the campaign closes.
