The agreement
These terms govern every account on Build More, whether you joined to post clips or to fund a campaign. Creating an account accepts them. Build More Technologies Limited, registered in Zambia, operates the platform and holds campaign budgets until a clip is approved.
- The platform is a marketplace. Build More is not the employer, agency or manager of any creator, and not the advertiser behind any campaign.
- We may change these terms as the product changes. Material changes are announced in the product before they take effect, and continuing to use the account accepts them.
- If a term is unenforceable in your country, the rest continue to apply.
Creator eligibility
You can join as a creator if you are at least 18, hold the account you post from, and can be paid in a country Build More operates in. One person holds one account. Accounts cannot be sold, rented or shared with a network.
- The name on the account must match the name on the payout method. Payouts to a third party are declined.
- Public social accounts only. A reviewer must be able to open the clip and read its view count without following or paying.
- You keep full ownership of the clips you make. Submitting a link grants the brand and Build More a licence to view, share and repost the clip while the campaign is live.
- Accounts created to farm multiple submissions of the same clip are removed and any pending balance on them is withheld.
Original content only
Every clip submitted must be made by you for the campaign you submit it to. Reposting another creator’s video, re-uploading a brand’s own advert unchanged, or submitting a clip already paid for by another campaign are all grounds for rejection and, on repeat, suspension.
- Brand assets supplied in the brief may be used freely inside your own clip. They cannot be published on their own as if they were your work.
- A clip must follow the brief’s stated requirements, including any wording, disclosures or hashtags a campaign asks for.
- Clips must comply with the rules of the platform you post on, and with the advertising and disclosure rules of your own country.
- Content that is unlawful, hateful, sexual, or that misrepresents a product’s effect or price is rejected and is not paid.

Views and verification
Payment is calculated on verified views, not on the number displayed publicly at the moment you submit. A reviewer compares the public count against your own platform analytics and approves the figure both agree on. This is why clips are reviewed by people rather than counted automatically.
- You may be asked for a screen recording or a screenshot of your analytics for the clip. Declining means the submission cannot be verified and is not paid.
- Bought views, view-exchange schemes, engagement pods, bot traffic and paid promotion of a clip without the campaign’s consent are all prohibited.
- A clip that is deleted, set to private or removed by the platform before review cannot be verified and earns nothing.
- If a view count later proves to be inflated, Build More may reverse the payout against your balance and, where a payout has already been released, recover it from future earnings.
- A campaign may set a minimum view count before a clip qualifies, and a maximum payout per clip. Both are shown on the campaign before you submit.
Balances, thresholds and payout timing
Approved earnings are credited to your Build More balance immediately. Balances are held in Zambian kwacha and converted at the point of display and payout. You can request a cash out once your balance is at or above K50, and requests are released on the weekly payout run.
- Payout runs are processed every Friday. A request made after a run has started is included in the following one.
- Build More charges no fee on a payout. Your mobile money or bank provider may charge its own fee, which is outside our control.
- Payout details must be correct. A payout sent to details you supplied incorrectly cannot always be recovered.
- Balances do not expire and are not charged a holding fee. An account closed at your request is paid out first, subject to the threshold.
- A payout may be paused while a submission tied to it is under investigation for inflated or bought views.
Brand budgets and refunds
Funding a campaign transfers the budget to Build More, which holds it and releases it only as approved clips are paid. The smallest budget a brand can fund is K5,000. Budget that the reward pool has not spent is returned when a campaign closes.
- Campaigns are reviewed before they go live. A campaign that is rejected is refunded in full, including the platform fee.
- A live campaign can be paused at any time. Clips already submitted before the pause are still reviewed and, if approved, still paid from the pool.
- Refunds cover unspent pool only. Amounts already paid to creators for verified views are not recoverable, because the work was delivered.
- A brand cannot reject a clip that meets the published brief solely because it did not perform. Performance risk sits with the pool, which is what the rate per 1,000 views prices.
- Assets supplied in a brief remain the brand’s property. Creators receive a licence to use them inside campaign clips only.

The platform fee
Build More charges brands 20% of the budget they fund, deducted once at the moment of funding. Creators are charged nothing at any point. Campaigns created and funded by Build More itself carry no fee, so the entire budget reaches the reward pool.
- The fee is shown before a campaign is funded, and the resulting reward pool is shown alongside it.
- The fee is not charged again on payouts, on cash outs, or on any part of the budget that is returned.
- Fee percentages can change for future campaigns. The rate that applies to a campaign is the rate in force on the day it was funded.
- The current split of that fee between tax, review staff and operations is published on the pricing page.
Featured placement
Featured placement moves a campaign to the top of the public campaign list for a fixed run, by default 14 days. It is bought separately from the media budget and does not increase the reward pool. Slots are limited to 10 at a time.
- Featured placement is requested by a brand and approved by Build More. A request is not a booking until it is approved.
- Placement affects position in the list only. It has no effect on how clips are reviewed or how creators are paid.
- A featured campaign that is paused or ends early does not carry its remaining days over to another campaign.
- Featured campaigns are labelled as such wherever they appear.
Suspension and account closure
Accounts are suspended when the rules above are broken, when payout details are fraudulent, or when someone is impersonated. Suspension stops new submissions and pauses payouts while the account is reviewed. Most suspensions follow a warning, but the ones involving inflated views usually do not.
- You will be told what the suspension is for and given a route to reply. A person reviews the reply.
- Balances built from clips that were verified normally are paid out even if the account is closed afterwards.
- Balances built from inflated, bought or exchanged views are withheld and the corresponding budget is returned to the campaign pool.
- You may close your own account at any time from the dashboard. Closure does not remove the record of payouts already made, which we are required to keep.
Liability and governing law
Build More provides the marketplace, the review process and the payment rails. It does not guarantee how a clip performs, how much a creator earns, or that a campaign will spend its full pool. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
- Our liability to any account is limited to the amounts that passed through that account in the twelve months before the claim.
- We are not liable for a platform changing its rules, removing a clip, or restating a view count after approval.
- Disputes are handled first by writing to us, and we answer every one.
- These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia, and the courts of Zambia have jurisdiction.
Questions about any part of this go to hello@buildmore.africa. How we handle your data is set out separately in the privacy notice.
